What is the latency of the ZED camera?

The ZED has a built-in USB 3.0 controller that enable low-latency data transmission with minimum polling and CPU usage, allowing the camera to transmit video data as soon as the frames are captured.

As a result, the latency on video delivery is much less than USB 2.0 cameras and do not exceed 1 to 2 frames. However, this figure is highly dependent on the host USB controller and the operating system. In some cases, latency can also be affected by the use of specific USB hubs.
